About Us
Most of the main house was built in the 1800s, although parts of it date back to the middle ages.
The current hosts Chiara and Simonetta Agnello are the fifth generation of the family to have lived at Mosé, which was their summer home when they were children.
Chiara and Simonetta's father Baron Agnello restored and modernized the house after it was bombed during the second world war, creating traditional mediterranean gardens full of jasmine, citronella, and an immense wisteria which climbs to the third floor.
The rich history of the house, and the recipes of its kitchen, have been written about by Chiara and Simonetta in their recent bestseller "Un Filo D'Olio" and are the basis of dinners and cookery courses at the farm.
