Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers users of the www.fattoriamose.com website. We have a separate Cookies Policy plus Terms and Conditions. The data controller of this website is: info@fattoriamose.com

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

In order to manage an accommodation website and online shop we need to collect some information about you to manage your booking queries and contact you about your shop order. This information is either stored on our website database or sent to our email server. We also use cookies to improve your user experience and to enable us to analyse who visits the website and why.

Cookies

This website, like all modern websites, uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that can be used by websites to make a user’s experience more efficient. Cookies are stored on your device. Please read our Cookies Policy for further information.

Contact forms

Our contact form does not save any details to our database but forwards the message to our email server. The form asks for basic, essential information such as name, email and message in order for us to be able to reply to your query in a meaningful way.

Embedded content from other websites

Occasionally we may wish to embed content from another website such as YouTube or Vimeo. In these instances your viewing of that content means you are governed by their privacy policy. Such embedded content should be easy to distinguish on our site.

Analytics

Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.

Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA also records your computer’s IP address, which could be used to personally identify you, but Google does not grant us access to this. We consider Google to be a third party data processor (see below).

GA makes use of cookies, which are short text files stored on a user’s device (such as a computer, tablet or phone) by a website. Cookies are used for the technical functioning of a website or for gathering statistics. They are also typically used to provide a more personalised experience for a user – for example, when an online service remembers your user profile without you having to login.

Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website.

Shop orders

Our online shop uses WooCommerce and in order for us to be able to communicate with you about your order and to ship the order we need to collect some essential data such as name, address, email and telephone number. We do not currently take payments online so no payment card details are processed by us. By providing us with this information you agree to us using this data to contact you about your order.

Who we share your data with

We will never sell, distribute or make public your personal information. Only people who manage the accommodation bookings or help to deliver shop stock will need to use your data and only for the purpose you provided it. Other trusted contractors may have access to your data e.g. the webmaster but they will not download or use it for any other purpose than the one you provided it for.

How long we retain your data

Your data will be stored on our website database or on our email server for up to four years unless you specifically request for it to be removed. We store it in case we need to refer to it e.g. in the case of a dispute or query about a booking or shop product. After four years we will manually delete it.

What rights you have over your data

We would be happy to delete all emails from you from our email servers and any shop orders from you in our website database. Simply email us to request this: info@fattoriamose.com.

Third party processors

We use the following third parties to process personal data on our behalf. These third parties are based in the United States and are committed to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR). They are already EU-U.S Privacy Shield compliant.
